November 2018
It was a Wonderful weekend!
The Paris show is always one of the highlights of the year. But this year it was more special than ever.
It took a long time to make the decision to show our ten-year-old stallion Al Ayal AA in Paris. It was not an easy decision; Al Ayal's look is a bit different than most other show horses competing at today's shows. His is a more classic look, somewhat more old-fashioned in type, and Al Ayal is, after all, a breeding stallion. No one is showing breeding stallions any more.

After many days of deliberation, we decided to follow our VISION and listen to our hearts and show the "Big Al".
We are grateful that we had the best people ever behind our horse; two of the industry's best teams cooperating together on Al Ayal's behalf; the Aljassimya team and the Giacomo Capacci team. So many wonderful people took part in bringing out the best in our horse and they all did it in the best possible way.
Al Ayal arrived in Paris in wonderful condition and in very good spirits. Two of his best yearling sons came with him, Arraab Aljassimya & Qutuz Aljassimya; both proudly bred and owned by Aljassimya Farm.
Arraab Aljassimya (Om El Aisha Aljassimya), competing for the first time ever, was 1st in his class with a super score of 93.08 points. Qutuz Aljassimya (Minwah) was 2nd in his class with a wonderful score of 92.92. Both colts performed very well.
On the last day of the show, Arraab Aljassimya was named Silver World Champion Yearling Colt. Alf Mabrouk to H.H. Sheikh Jassim Bin Khalifa Al Thani, owner of Aljassimya Farm and breeder of these two colts.

Al Ayal's time to enter the ring came at the end of the second day; the last class of the day. He was beautifully shown by Giacomo Capacci and placed 3rd in his class with a score of 93.08 points, behind Equator (93.67 points) and ES Harir (93.33 points).
We are so proud that our Straight Egyptian stallion was the only horse at the 2018 World Championship who received perfect scores of 20 for Type across the board from all the judges!!! He also was awarded the Best Head Trophy for his class and named Best Straight Egyptian Male of the show.

The next day Al Ayal became the Bronze World Champion Stallion, tying in points with the Silver Champion Stallion!!! And finally, to make things even sweeter, Ariela Arabians was awarded the Best Breeder/Owner of the 2018 World Championship!
So, all in all, it was a very good weekend...
We would like to thank H.H. Sheikh Jassim Bin Khalifa Al Thani, Bart Van Buggenhout, Giacomo Capacci, the one and only Robin Hopkinson (couldn't have done it without you!), Emma Maxwell, Giuseppe Vetrò, Constantin Urinciuc and all the wonderful people who helped Al Ayal reach this fantastic achievement.
With sincere and special gratitude we would like to recognize and say thank you to all the wonderful people who came from Israel, our homeland, as well as from all around the world, to cheer and encourage Al Ayal. It was exceptionally heart-warming for us to see it and be there with you all. This is what horse shows should be about! Thank you, everyone, we simply could not have done it without you!

It has been one of these years... a year that needs to end.
This year we lost The Vision, her three year old daughter Nile Farah AA and now The Vision’s oldest son, Al Maraam, has left us as well.
There are certain horses that pave your way as a horse breeder. Al Maraam was one of those horses that did this for me. From the moment he was born he was extraordinary in his beauty and his own quality, and then there was the quality of his foals. But the characteristic that made h...im most special of all was his amazing character, his loving temperament and his quiet soul. There was something special in Al Maraam. He was simply a family horse that loved people. And people loved him back. He was simply one of those horses that captured the heart of everyone he met.
This past year Al Maraam was with Alexandra Santorini of Italy who provided him with plenty of love, and the quiet and good life that he deserved. Although Maraam was not at our farm when he left us, he has always remained an inseperable part of Ariela Arabians. His influence on our breeding program was and remains tremendous. We are left with his direct daughter and granddaughter Latifa AA and Dafina AA, and all of their progeny that continues his wonderful legacy. Horses such as Lulu AA, Lamaan AA, Labibah AA, Lutfina AA, Damadiyah AA and Daania AA will never let us forget Maraam’s great contribution to our program. Al Maraam played an important role in our past, continues to influence our present, and will undoubtedly influence our future.
We raise horses but also raise family. And Al Maraam was part of our extended family. Now we need to persevere and move forward towards the future. So we will take a moment to ourselves to remember our past and then we will gather ourselves together, despite the fact that it really hurts, and present Al Ayal AA at the World Championships in Paris in another two and a half weeks. Because life goes on and we must carry on….

It was a long weekend but a very good one...
The 37th Israeli Nationals were held last weekend in Moshav Tel Adashim. 204 horses took part in this show which was judged by six international judges. Unfortunately, many of the horses show were horses imported from abroad and not Israel bred horses as it used to be in the past. We took eleven horses from our breeding program and they all did great:
* Sultan AA (ST Shardh x Marwana by Al Maraam) - 4th place Weanling Colts (2018a)
* Bariq Al Mas AA (Jyar Meia Lua x Al Baraqai AA by Baahir) - 1st place Weanling Colt Foal (2018b)
* Mayar AA (Jyar Meia Lua x Chanel JPD) - 2nd place Weaning Colt Foal (2018b)
* My Vision AA (Jyar Meia Lua x The Vision HG) - 2nd place Weanling Filly Foal (2018c)
* Lulu AA (Marwan Al Shaqab x Labibah AA by Nader Al Jamal) - 1st place 2017 Fillies (2017a)
* Zara AA (GT Shardh x Zlota Gwizda by Al Maraam) - 4th place Yearling Fillies (2017b)
* Baahir AA (Al Ayal AA x Badriyah AA by Nader Al Jamal) - 2nd place Yearling Colt (2017b)
* Sajida AA (Al Ayal AA x Safiyyah AA by Laheeb) - 1st place Three Years Old Fillies
* Lamaan AA (Marwan Al Shaqab x Lutfina AA by Nader Al Jamal - 3rd place 2016 Colts
* Sofiya AA (Al Ayal AA x Saniyyah RCA by Mishaal HP) - 1st place 2014 Mares
* Nashwah AA (Al Ayad x Insha Sha Latifa by Ansata Selam) - 1st place 2009 and Older Mares

Nine of these eleven horses made it to the championships, and eight left the arena wearing the roses:
* Mayar AA - Silver Champion Colt Foal
* Bariq Al Mas AA - Bronze Champion Weanling Colt
* My Vision AA - Bronze Champion Filly Foal
* Lulu AA - Bronze Champion Yearling Filly
* Sajida AA - Bronze Champion Filly
* Lamaan AA - Bronze Champion Colt
* Nashwah AA - Bronze Champion Mare
* Sofiya AA - Gold Champion Mare and High Scoring Horse of the show with 93 points, include 10 times perfect score of 20 for Type and Head & Neck.

We wish to thank Tom Oben who beautifully showed our horses and to our devoted and hard working team. You are the best team any of us could of hoped for! We couldn't do it without you all! Thank you!

None of our own horses took part in the 2018 Straight Egyptian World Championship, which was held last weekend in Milano, Italy, but horses related to our breeding program did well:

Exciting times ahead!
We proudly inform you about our lease of one of the breed’s finest stallions; Guy and Christine Jamar of Jadam Arabians in Belgium, kindly agreed to let their beloved multi champion stallion Emerald J, be part of Ariela Arabians future.
Emerald J is the result of a crossing of 2 of the best ambassadors of the Arabians breed; QR Marc & Emandoria. Both World Champions and multi champions, having a huge worldwide impact, on the breeding of Arabians horses, in the last decade. Emandoria, considered, by many, as one of the most beautiful mares ever, is coming from the very famous Polish E-line, through her grandmother Emanacja (Eukaliptus x Emigracja). A dam line we have always been looking to add to our breeding program.
Emerald J himself is already sire of many champions, the list is too long to write them all down. We will just mention two; the 2016 triple crown champion, Gallardo J, who was named Gold Champion Colt at the Dubai International Show, the European Championship, the Al Nations Cup and the World Championship! And, just recently, Admiraal who was named 2018 Gold Champion Stallion of the All Nations Cup in Aachen with an unforgettable performance.
We feel this stallion will be spectacular addition to our breeding program and look forward seeing what he will bring to our breeding program!

What an unforgettable event in beautiful Tuscany!!!! The day after the European Summer Sale at Giacomo Capacci Arabians, a stallion show was held at the farm. Many world class stallions were presented to the public. The grand finale of this three days event was presentation of three stallions from our own breeding program. One after the other come Al Lahab (Laheeb), Al Raheb AA (Laheeb) and Al Ayal AA (Al Ayad). All white, all full of pure Arabian type and all out of the some dam, the unforgettable The Vision HG.
It was a tough moment for us as the dam of these three stallions is not doing well and the wonderful team of the Israeli Equine Hospital has been fighting for her life for the last few days. She is over 24 years old and the last few months have not been an easy journey for her, but we all try to hope for the best.
We wish to thank Giacomo Capacci & Michelle Bergsma and the whole team, for giving us an unforgettable memory that will last for lifetime. And to the Israeli Equine Hospital surgeons & team and to all our friends who show theirs concern, caring & love. Thank you!

We have been breeding horses for a very long time and have had many wonderful horses staying with us here, we loved them all! But, every now and then comes a horse that manages to touch your heart a bit deeper than the others! Now it is time to say goodbye to such a horse and send him back home to La Movida Stud in Austria.
It was such a pleasure to have Jyar Meia Lua (RFI Maktub x Jiullya El Jamaal by Ali Jamaal) here with us and see him on a daily basis. He is beautiful, kind and so different then other horses we see in today's world. Jyar was bred by the late master breeder Lenita Perroy, of Haras Meia Lua farm in Brazil and is now proudly owned by our friends Gerlinde & Ferdinand Huemer of La Movida Arabians in Austria.
We look forward to Jyar's upcoming foals from our best mares. The first foals are due in the next few weeks. A special and huge THANK YOU to Gerlinde & Ferdinand Huemer for letting us use Jyar in our breeding program. It was a dream come true!

It's all about the eyes... We are happy to announce that we have opened the book of our young stallion Shams Al Dine AA. This colt is sired by our multi champion stallion Shams Sharav AA (Simeon Sharav x Saniyyah RCA) out of the beautiful Laheeb daughter Raliya. Raliya's dam line traces back in tail-female to Ansata Salome (Ansata Ibn Halima x Ansata Bint Nazeer), of the Saqlawi Jidran strain and shares the same dam line of the Queen of Egypt, Moniet Al Nefous. We believe that this colt will bring to our breeding program a lot of refinement and huge black eyes.
The future looks bright!

At the 1st Israeli Arabian Horse Festival, held last weekend at Park Meir in Rishon Lezion, we had great results with two of our young home-bred horses; At her first show, the Yearling filly, Lulu AA (Marwan Al Shaqab x Labibah AA) was 1st in her class and named Silver Champion Filly. Her full brother in blood, Lamaan AA (Marwan Al Shaqab x Lutfina AA), was also first in his class, the winner of the most classic head award, and was the unanimous Gold Champion Colt.
Interesting to note that the dams of these young horses, Labibah AA & Lutfina AA, are full sisters. They were both sired by Nader Al Jamal (Ansata Sinan x Savannah CC) out of one of our best mares, Latifah AA (Al Maraam x Imperial Kalatifa by Imperial Al Kamar).
We would like to thank Mussa Nijm from Uri Shaked Training Center for showing our horses so beautifully, and to Uri Shaked and his whole team who worked so hard to prepare the horses for the show. Thank you, guys!

We are very pleased to announce that we are leasing one of Hanaya Stud's most treasured stallions, Kenz Al Baydaa. This well-bred stallion was bred by the world famous Al Baydaa Stud from Egypt and then purchased at a very young age by Mrs. Nayla Hayek to join her exquisite collection of the breed's finest straight Egyptian horses.
Kenz Al Baydaa represents the powerful sire line of Nazeer through perhaps the most dynamic producing son of Ansata Halim Shah, Ansata Hejazi. Kenz's priceless and solid Babson dam line to the influential mare Sabrah has been brought forward through the layering of Glorieta Arabians bloodlines, representing the superior program of Mike and Kiki Case in America, along with a peppering of Darla Bryant breeding, to Ansata, to Imperial Egyptian Stud, then Omar Sakr and of course to the current day program of Al Baydaa. Kenz's dam, Kareema Sakr, is one of the most revered and respected Egyptian beauties on the globe today - her beauty and exquisite type not only ethereal but rather haunting in the most delicate and elusive way. Kareema is owned by Al Baydaa but living currently at Privilege in Belgium and is considered the Queen of Egypt based on her austere beauty alone.
Kanz is a young sire but his foals have already won many championships in Europe. His most well-know progeny is Hanaya Amirah (out Ameerat Al Hejra by Nader Al Jamal) who was named Gold Champion Filly at the 2017 Egyptian Event Europe.
We wish to thank Frank Spoenle and Elisa Grassi for helping us made this dream come true.

Congratulations to Dana Al-Meslemani owner of Al Thumama Stud from Qatar, for leasing one of our prime mares, the multi-champion Labibah AA (Nader Al Jamal x Latifah AA). The cross between Nader Al Jamal and Latifah AA (Al Maraam x Imperial Kalatifa by Imperial Al Kamar) has become a golden cross for our breeding program in the last few years, producing such great foals as Labibah AA, Lutfina AA, Leia AA & the German-bred BK Latif.
Labibah traveled to Belguim some days ago to stand with Tom Oben who will be showing her for Al Thumama Stud. We wish to thank Tom Oben & Hilke Cיcile de Bruycker for making this happen and wish good luck to Dana!

We are extremely pleased to announce the birth of a very special black filly out of our most important foundation mare, The Vision HG, foaled early Monday morning. Sired by our homebred junior sire Nader al Shamal (Salaa el Dine x Insha Sha Latifah by Ansata Selman), this is the first black Straight Egyptian filly produced by our 24-year-young Vision and she was definitely well worth the wait.
Super feminine and refined, tall and leggy, elegant and balanced, this little girl is truly something to behold. She is blessed with an extremely chiseled muzzle and refined face accented with small, beautifully molded ears. Perfectly set large soft eyes confidently observe her small world. We are so grateful for this filly and we dream of her great potential and imagine her as the natural future heiress of her dam's kingdom. We are so very blessed. Please be patient with us. We promise to post photos soon.

The season's second foal has arrived and it is our first foal by Shamekh Al Danat!
Last year we leased the Multi Champion Straight Egyptian Stallion Shamekh Al Danat from his breeder and owner, Al Danat Stud from Kuwait. Shamekh is by the Ansata Hejazi son Ajmal Al Kout, who is out of the Ansata Halim Shah daughter Ansata Malaka (out of Ansata Malika by Jamil. On his dam's side, Shamekh Al Danat is out of the mare Ajmal Sherifa (Ansata Sirius x Jazi Al Rayyan by Alidaar). The tail female-line includes some of Ansata Stud's best mares, tracing to the great Dahmah-Shahwaniyah mare Ansata Bint Bukra (Nazeer x Bukra).
Some of our finest mares were covered with this snow white stallion who has already sired great foals in his homeland. This week his first filly was born, out of Latifah AA (Al Maraam x Imperial Kalatifa) and she is all we were hoping for! A beautiful filly with the most refined head, small muzzle and huge black eyes. She has a very short back and is simply eye-catching all over!
Some more foals are due in the next few months and we have huge expectations!

March 2018
This year we started late with our new foal crop, but it the worth to wait. The first foal of 2018 was born a few days ago; a beautiful chestnut colt by the Italian-bred sire Frasera Mashar (Majd Al Rayyan x Frasera Mashara) out of one of our best Laheeb daughters, Basmah AA (out of Al Baraqai by The Vision HG).
This colt is full brother to Bosmat AA - 2017 Gold Champion Filly Foal at the Israeli Egyptian Event, 2017 Bronze Champion Filly at the Israeli Nationals & 2018 Gold Champion Yearling Filly at the All Nationas Cup International Egyptian Event, Kuwait. Seem like this little guy has the some quality as his older sister.
Better pictures will come soon!
