Ariela Arabians is pleased to announce their participation in ALPHA trials for the new QwikCheck™Gold Equine Semen Analysis device produced by Medical Electronic Systems / A-TECH. The alpha trials began in 2012 and resulted in an equine semen analysis system that we used for the 2013 breeding season.
The QwikCheck™Gold Equine semen analyzer reports sperm concentration, motility, progressive motility, normal morphology, velocity and the number of sperm, progressive sperm and motile sperm per sample volume. It tests Raw, Extended and Cooled semen. In addition, the screens lead you through the entire process of setting up doses. We found that we have been more efficient in the distribution and QC of cooled semen shipments and we can accurately dose by the # progressively motile sperm/dose – something that is very difficult to do by eye – yet is of great value to our customers. The instrument is also effective for monitoring the semen quantity and quality of our stallions. The raw semen test report is very detailed and allows us to learn about the stallion’s current repro status in less than two minutes. It’s a great system and EASY to use. We have come to rely on this analyzer and the professional support of A-Tech. We recommend its use!

Great news from the far north - the first Abyad's AA (Nader Al Jamal x Al Amal AA by Halim Shah I) was born at Janow Poslaski Stud in Poland.
