At the 2005 World Championship in Paris, the Laheeb daughter Galilea won the title of 2005 Reserve World Champion Mare. Earlier this year Galilea was crowned Champion Mare at the challenging Polish Nationals.
Congratulations to Michalow Stud and Stud Director Mr. Bialobok, for their great success with this promising young mare. November 2006 - As a result of the dope test conducted at the World Championships 2005 in Paris, the mare WN Fawn Obsession was found to be positive, and was disqualified from any titles and awards achieved at the World Championships in Paris 2005. Due to these circumstances, Galilea is the 2005 World Champion mare. (Photos copyrights - Irina Filsinger) |

The 25th Israeli Nationals was held last weekend, and horses which are connected to our breeding program did extremely well; in particular, both foals championships were won by Laheeb progeny. As was the case at the Egyptian Event six weeks ago, all colts classes was won by Al Maraam sons. At the end of the championships, the colt Al Bilal (Al Maraam x Bahiha) was awarded the Junior Champion title, and his reserve was AA Assal (Laheeb x Asia). Junior Champion Filly was our homebred filly Barakaa AA (Laheeb x Al Baraqai AA), and the Reserve title went to Aroussa (Al Maraam x W. Warda). The Mare Championship was won by our mare *Dumka (Laheeb x Dabrowa). The Stallion Championship was extremely exciting. Champion Stallion was A. Sharif Pacha (AS Sinans Pacha x TZG Westona), shown and handled by our team, and the Reserve was our homebred Lail (Mosalli x Imperial Kalatifa). The Al Maraam son AA Al Bashyr won the Must Classic Head class. Thank you to Frank Sponle for showing our horses and to all our friends and clients. (Photos copyrights - Shira Yeger) |

Last weekend was the opening of our racing season and the very promising Al Maraam son, Al Mawardi, did it again by handily winning his heat, open exclusively to former race winners. He beat some of the country's top race horses and did it in style - finishing three lengths ahead of the second place horse. Congratulations to Ofer Braz, who both owns and trains Al Mawardi. September 2005
We are happy to welcome the German Straight Egyptian stallion Al Ayad to our breeding program. Al Ayad's extreme type well reflects his pedigree, a blend of some of the best and most classic"old" German breeding, lines which are becoming more and more difficult to find today in SE breeding. Al Ayad, 2002 Egyptian Event Europe Junior Champion Colt, has an unusual pedigree. His sire is traces to one of the breed's finest mares, Moheba II (Ghazal x Malacha), of the Farida branch of the El Dahma family. His dam, Al Mamunah, is a Maysoun daughter that recently sold to the Middle East. Al Mamunah is Hadban Enzahi by strain, tracing back tail female to the root mare Venus, bred by the Shammar bedouin. We would like to thank both Monika Wenzel, Al Ayad's proud owner, and The Arabian Garden, for helping to make this lease possible. (Photos copyrights - Laura Gosch) |

July 2005
Interesting news from Germany.....in the latest issue of the German Arab Horse Society newsletter there is a list of which stallions covered the most mares during the 2004 breeding season. Three stallions in the Top Twenty of this prestigious list were bred by our stud: Al Lahab, Al Hakim and our own Al Maraam, who was in Europe for only part of the '04 breeding season. What is even more extraordinary is that all three stallions share the same dam: The Vision HG. |

The VIII Arabians Summer Festival of the magical Fontanella Arabians was a resounding success. It started with a seminar given by Judith Forbis and was followed by a presentation of the farm's beautiful horses, and of course, accompanied by wonderful food and music. One of the highlights of the day was the presentation of two unique horses: the black beauty Windsprees Mirage and our own stallion Al Maraam. We would like to thank Giuseppe Fontanella and his team for this unforgettable weekend. (Photos copyrights - Anonymous) |

At the 8th Galilee Festival of the Arabian Horse horses related to our breeding program were among the stars of the show. The two weanling champions were both sired by sons of Al Maraam, and the Champion Filly was the beautiful Al Maraam daughter Arosa. Our own homebred Al Taj AA, also sired by Al Maraam, won the Champion Colt title, and the Laheeb son A.A. Assal took Reserve. The Al Maraam son, A.A. Bashir, won Most Classic Head and stood third in his class behind Al Taj AA and A.A. Assal. March 2005
America, here we come! We are happy to announce that our head stallion Laheeb will stand at Furioso Farm, California from June 2005 through August 2007.
Raymond Mazzei, Furioso Farm owner and well-known international judge, has been extremely impressed over the last few years by the quality of the Laheeb foals in Poland. After watching Laheeb's performance at the 2004 Israeli Nationals, where he won the title of Champion Stallion for the second year in a row, Raymond approached us and asked to lease the stallion for two years.
As a result of this venture Laheeb will soon be standing next to an old stablemate from Janow Podlaski, the widely acclaimed Ecaho, now at Furioso Farm, California.
We wish Raymond & Furioso Farm great joy and success with Laheeb.

The dam of this little girl is one of Ofer's favorite mares, Anjom, sired by our own bred stallion Labib with tail female line tracing to one of our first Straight Egyptian mares; Al Sachra Bint Amal.
Well done Safir! |

Ariela Arabians is happy to announce the arrival of 2002 Israeli Reserve National Champion Colt; Al Bilal, who will stand at the farm during the 2005 breeding season. Al Bilal is an Al Maraam son, out of our own bred mare; the multi-champion beauty Bahiha.
Bahiha's sire, Baahir, is a double Israeli National Champion and 1992 Egyptian Event reserve Supreme Champion. Her dam Imperial Im Tiarah was one of our best mares until her untimely death. Tiarah's dam line traces to the top producing mare Ansata Nile Mist of the famous Nile family, and back to the Sabah branch of the Dahman Shahwan strain and thence to El Dahma.
Al Bilal is owned by Mr. Avi Arviv.
